TechLaw's mission of facilitating mutually advantageous relationships is primarily accomplished through an ongoing series of worldwide gatherings, hosted by our member firms. Meetings often feature continuing legal education seminars for members and their clients. Alternately, a best-practice format is occasionally featured. These meetings bring together leaders of the firms' staff functions such as information technology, recruiting and marketing. And, TechLaw periodically hosts gatherings of the member firms' managing partners to exchange high-level dialogue on contemporary topics impacting firm management and strategy.
It is the small group, collegial and non-competitive structure of TechLaw that makes the open exchanges possible – and valuable.
TechLaw events are open to lawyers and staff of member firms. And, in the case of continuing legal education sessions, meetings are open to the clients of member firms and others designated by the host firm or the Board of Directors.
